Unknown author verses thoughts

I see God in everything.

When the immense waves of water dance onto the shore, and the the echo of crashing waves sing loudly in my ears. When a child laughs and wiggles his toes in the cool sand. When the gulls fly circular celebrating the air currents and they swiftly dart around each other.

I see God.

When a puppy is born. When a child learns to make those first independent steps towards someone. When mama looks at me from the face of an elderly woman who has loved me all my days, and she loves me still, even after all my folly.

I see God.

We seek self-realization . We seek joy. Seek God first and He will fill your every need and desire. Give love to Him and your love will abound, and you will see God too.

    lovely words
just my thoughts i want to share:
“Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee?
Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.”
(Gospel according to Saint Matthew 25:34-40)
You know it’s loving each other as Jesus loved us the way we find joy and happiness and peace.
One more thing i want to share:
“‘One thing you lack,’ he said. ‘Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’” (Gospel according to Saint Mark 10:20-22)
I guess that the hardest thing to sell (to get rid of) is yourself. Through loving each other as Jesus loved us we do so.
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in His love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command” (Jn. 15:9-14)
“Then he said to them all: ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’” (Gospel according to Saint Luke 9:23-25)
I read this in “Donde duerme la ilusión” (Spanish only), a book by Francisco Fernández Carvajal: Jesus doesn’t promises a comfortable life, he promises a full life.
