Earthquakes

I have been monitoring earthquakes for over 20 years now. It’s a hobby! My children used to think I was paranoid as we are native Californians. I’m not. I just find it interesting and fascinating.

There is a pretty regular pattern (though not 100% of the time). Quakes OFTEN begin in
Asia. Once there is a notable one in the area, you can pretty much be sure that similar large quakes will take a southerly route around the ring of fire and go to So. America and then upward to No. America.

This is NOT ALWAYS the case, but over all these years it’s a pretty regular pattern.

Within the last 9 days there have been much larger quakes than usual. In the last six or seven years the intensity of the quakes worldwide has increased tremendously. Since
the terrible quake that caused so much death and horror in Asia, quakes has increased moderately around the world.

This is a list of quakes of intensity 6 or more (these are quakes you absolutely can feel, and can cause damage”:

Northern Peru 6
Aleutian Islands (Alaska) 6
Vanuatu (1300 miles NE of Australia) 6.1
W. Coast of Japan 6.6
Sea of Japan 6.8
South Tanzania 6
Tanzania 6
South of Fiji Islands 6.1

What makes these quakes a bit unusual to me is the proximity of them. Usually large quakes follow that pattern, around the ring of fire (volcanoes around the world) from Asia to South America and then upward to N. America and the top of the northern hemisphere, which I just mentioned.

Just thought I’d share this with you, but keep in mind, even though I have been monitoring quakes around the world for many years – I am not an expert. I not infinite. My thoughts are my theory. There is really no way to absolutely predict an earthquake precisely as far as I know. I do know many animal’s behaviors change just prior to an earthquake.

Our planet is alive. It’s still beautiful and unpredictable no matter how many people try to
predict the future. That’s part of the excitement of living to me! Any thoughts?
