Life is moment by moment and there are no guarantees. I made a promise to myself and my Creator years ago – When I die I will go out of this life believing, loving and happy! I am keeping my promise.
Life rushes by quickly and we often waste time on TRIVIA that just doesn’t matter at all.
Start a mental “housecleaning” and dump useless thoughts and activities from your day.
You will make room for lots more positive things that do matter! Look around. Do you really need to worry about so much? I think not! We can only do so much and then life itself is really a series of unexpected scenarios.
So our best bet is to take life moment by moment and try to find that joy you’ve been too busy to think about lately. Take a deep breath and appreciate just the fact you
are still here!
CREATE a blessed day for yourself and your light will shine and help others too!

The present is all there is. When I started typing this a few seconds ago is already gone. Nothing I can do about it. Life is
great and GOD put us here to be happy. To spread LOVE around
like it will never run out (it doesn’t). So I agree with you and you must be a wonderful person. You must shine brighter than
any star wherever you are. Blessed be those who carry on
following the principles given to us by the Creator.

You are right! What was a few seconds ago is gone…forever! I also agree love is in an
abundant supply that never ends. Good point. I am a work in progress and will feel like my
life has been successful if I can shine and share love. Thank you so much for your comments.

Nice to see a post from you again. Have you been on vacation, or have I just been missing your posts? In any case, thanks for the reminder that indeed “This is the day that the Lord hath made. Rejoice and be glad in it.” I paraphased that (as you probably noticed) and didn’t give the exact scripture, but I’m thinking Psalms.
I think Abraham Lincoln said that most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be, and I sometimes have to do a little “cognitive restructuring” if I’m feeling discouraged or down in any way.

Nice to hear from you again too:). I had my son, wife and three children staying with us for
3 1/2 weeks – it was wild, fun, and wonderful! Needless to say – no time to sit still…the
children are 6, 8, 10! We played, rode bikes, went swimming, and just had a ball.
I missed writing though, and my connection with my friends on line! That “cognitive restructuring” is (as the good book says) – the renewing of the mind. We all need to do that
on a regular basis! If we can only remember that being down or negative does nothing but harm, and becomes habit!
I tried being miserable, it sucked, I gave it up! Honestly. My hubby calls me the human happy face. Praise the Lord:)

the freedom of choice is yours.

AMEN! That is the only TRUE freedom we really have…..our response to life by CHOOSING it and not succumbing to what we think we have to do. We can always use our wits and choose to find a lesson, happiness, or a positive response to any situation, I believe.
Have a wonderful day!
