“WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Wednesday outlawed executions of people convicted of raping a child in a 5-4 vote, the court said the Louisiana law allowing the death penalty to be imposed in such cases violates the Constitution’s ban on cruel and unusual punishment.
“The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child,” Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote. Kennedy concluded that in cases of crimes against individuals — as opposed to treason, for example — the death penalty should not be expanded to instances where the victim’s life was not taken.”
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE HIGHEST COURT IN OUR COUNTRY SPENDS THEIR TIME DOING!
Excuse me, I have known MORE than one child that has been raped or sexually abused. I know children and adults in that circumstance. I believe the death penalty is a proportional punishment as in MANY, MANY cases…….the person’s life is ruined and changed FOREVER. In some cases I’ve known it might have been better to kill the person. I know that is harsh, but I have counseled at least two people over many years that would have preferred death and have been a burden on themselves and society.
Excuse me, “cruel and unusual punishment”……how about cruel and unusual treatment of an innocent child! If it were my child raped I would want the death penalty, and I am a Christian. But no, let’s do this instead. Let’s provide a lifetime of housing, medical benefits, the time (and of course free of charge) to work out and go to college or learn skills that most of us can’t afford in money or time.
Let’s provide the opportunity for these monsters to get out of jail and do it over and over again. Believe me, repeat crimes of this nature are higher statistically than you could imagine.
So there it is. Our supreme court providing “justice” for whom? Oh yes, the child raping monster that probably is on parole and lives in your neighborhood! I admit it. I’m not too relaxed about this decision! What do you think?

There is A LOT of injustice in this country of ours. I agree with Ms. J Stein. May we please start to expose those surgeons and doctors out there milking the insurance industry with unnecessary surgeries, while committing crimes by butchering many of us. Please see my website at http://www.tossurgerynightmare.com I am a CA Special Educator who can’t find medical help now that Dr. G. James Avery II–mutilated me so badly. He then followed up with emotional battery-and denial of needed PAIN medication after HALF my neck and rib was cut out for no reason. There is NO Justice with MICRA laws passed in Calif. and I will not physically survive this surgery for too much longer–while Dr. Avery continues to do these unnecessary surgeries and more. Please expose these white coat criminals and their hospitals. Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear of the horrible nightmare you are going through. I did check out your website. I have had two nightmares in my family myself. My father was
killed by a quack who had 10 malpractices against him. He “cut him into hamburger” a nurse told my mother. She fought for 7 years to get him out of business and then he moved to Canada to operate and the attorneys left her with a pittance to live the balance of her life on. I also believe a quack who treats many women…..was to blame for the death of an infant in our family. There is nothing we can do unless we have connections, money to fight, or the media behind us.
As horrible as that is, it is the truth, I am afraid. I will always publish what I know to be true to expose the fraud that prevails. I shall pray for you!

Dear Marsha- I am so sorry for what happened to you as well. Severe crimes done to our bodies or loved ones takes us through long term emotional/spiritual journies in order to find a way to “live” with the truth of what has happened.– I don’t think we ever really get over it. I agree with you. We probably never get over it, but must learn to accept, to alter some familiar body habits and to learn as best we can from what’s happened.
100% I too believe Good vs. Evil. Evil can be disguised to fain good, and for inexperienced or youthful persons this can be a challenge. I’ve fallen into many a trap over the years.
