Why Not?

It was a day of better exchanges between humans today. While waiting in line for a prescription the baby behind me threw up in his mom’s mouth. She tried to drink a pop and still couldn’t get rid of the taste. I remembered I had gum and asked if she wanted a piece. YES. She felt better. We talked
in a humanly manner, and I felt better. A good exchange between us. At the post office a woman and I exchanged hellos as we waited in line. She told me she loves her goats. They are sweet animals and
she treats them with kindness and love. It was nice to listen to her excitement and happiness over the goats. When I left the post office I felt good. It’s so easy to love. At the stop light an elderly couple and I exchanged smiles and so I put my window down and said, “Hello, how are you two today.”
They looked a bit surprised, but very pleased. They said “Fine and thank you for asking”. We talked
about how times are tough for so many right now. Then the light turned green and I said “Bye.”
They both waved and said, “God bless you.” I returned the thought and turned left. I probably
will never see any of these people again, but you know, we had our own happy little world in each
communication for the day. It rocked!

Love – love – love The best habit you can get into! Keep hope and take a breath! Hope you like this photograph – for your pleasure! :)

Thank you for your kind words on “why not” post. I took the photo while
kayaking up a river . Everything was so still it just looked like a dream.
It does grow from a bulb. The bulbs bloom and grow huge in springtime-then
they get brown as the heat comes on. I chop them off and in August each
year they just bloom like crazy….when it cools down the green leaves start
sprouting again. I am not too good with names of plants – I am not sure if
it is a crocus or not. 🙂

Nice to hear from you. Have a fantastic day!
