Happy Father’s Day to ALL you Dad’s

Whether a genetic dad, a step-dad, an adoptive dad, or just a guy who sacrifices for a child’s needs – HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO YOU! Being a parent (heck just being a friend or help-mate to a child) , is an EXTREMELY important job. You have these children who will someday be the grown-ups who will run the world – EACH individual is important to the future of us all!

Sacrificing all the wants and needs you may have for the love of a child is a SUPREME decision.
It’s the most important work you can have in this lifetime.

And to all you dad’s who have taken your children from a bad situation and are providing for their needs independently – I take my hat off to you! That’s a job a lot of guys run from and if you are willing to put the children first it means you have a heart as deep as a river, and stellar love! YOUR REWARD WILL COME.

It may not be right away, but it will come to you! God bless you all! Now go give those little stinkers a hug and a kiss. It is a privilege to be a parent. You are one of the most important people in a child’s world! If the kiddos are in their teens – go give them a hug anyway! Soon enough they will be out in the world and raising their families…..be close while you can as they grow up awfully fast! (I know – it doesn’t seem that way because it’s a tough job, but it’s true)!

Keep up the loving work! Here’s to my daddy, gone a long while now. I remember all the good times we shared, and will forever! Here’s to my husband – you helped raised two children when we married and though you never had children of your own – you did a smashing job. You still do!

While here in Australia we don’t celebrate Father’s Day until September, it has been good to read the journals of so many of your countrymen/women honouring their dads.
    Blessings!

The holidays may be different, but I think the celebration is important 🙂 Parenting is difficult and particularly, if I may say so, for many men. God bless them all, eh?
