I think it’s important to watch what your children are viewing on the internet and television. You know the violence and rage, selfish ambitions and dissensions, horror and indecency, drinking bouts, and stupid shows about things that will only hurt your children are endless. Don’t be lulled into thinking their attention to the internet and television gives you a break. What
they learn may very well break your back and your relationship with them some day! Be a good hall monitor for everyone’s benefit!
Remember when you think you are getting older, you are simply completing one phase of your life. Time to get ready for the next. Be excited and anticipate what may come to you. Your positive energies and thoughts will draw positive things to you like a magnet!
Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold you. Evil is not neutral.
I love this from the Bible and think I posted it a while back, but it’s good to be reminded of a great way to think:
“Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are love, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8.
