Well, maybe not kickin’ yet, but surgery went well and in the hospital bed – I may feel this good because – yes – I am on prescribed drugs. Need to take a nap though, so this was just a quick hello to let you know you’re not rid of me yet! Hee hee.

It was a hysterectomy. I am a bit loopy so won’t make this long. Take a breath. Your oxygen will empower you and keep your calmer. Prayers are with you.

Well done, Marsha! Remember not to do too much lifting in the next while. I hope you heal quickly and in time for your springtime perambulations. G

The recovery will be a bit more difficult as I have so much energy, my eight month old rottie, and kayak and hiking fever. But I will heed your words as I
have been told this time is critical to heal. Thank you for your concern! I am sitting in the hospital bed (have been awake since 3 or 4 as there is a woman in the next room who speaks so loudly she could wake the dead.) Really! So I just decided to get the laptop and and begin the day. Even the nurses said they could hear her all the way down the hallway. I hope she can get some rest soon (hee hee-not being mean, just funny:)

I appreciate your concern! I am feeling better by the moment! Home now and my puppy (well, 90+ lbs) must sense I need gentle – she’s been so gentle and I know she wants to run and play!

Iwayswright – Thank you so much. You have had much to deal with yourself I noted on your blog. Bless your sweet heart. The surgery was a hysterectomy. They left me my ovaries! I will pray for you. There are stages of grief so be patient with yourself. I specialize in stress management (nothing to sell except help, I hope). If you want to breeze through the posts perhaps something will help.
