I guess I have never been one to be entranced by actors/actresses who are considered “stars” – maybe that’s because I’ve known and worked with a few, and I just think they are pretty much OVER PAID and OVER PAMPERED!
The thing that kills me about the Oscars is that it is the stars and those closely affiliated who are awarding themselves with Oscars. They get free publicity, gifts upon arrival, and trophies to show how great they are.
My husband is a great man, but the only thing he gets is a hard earned paycheck that ISN’T ENOUGH!
If anyone is interested in my “star” connection I will be happy to share – just for fun. Here’s a quiz. There was a line in a movie that referred to finding out what a “special purpose” is. It was a comedy. Anybody a movie buff that remembers? If anyone can guess the movie or who starred in it I will send you a prize! Just for fun.
Here is me (ahhh a few years ago) with Patrick Duffy. He was a sweetheart. Want to know more? ASK. 🙂

Dare I say “The Jerk?”
Nice site, a refreshing departure from the same old political rants….
I will most certainly be back.

Accolades to you! Wow. I did not think anyone would remember that! If you email me, mo@jett.net, and want to send me your address (not for publication), I really do have a small gift to mail to you. It was the jerk. Steve Martin grew up pretty much in my home-my twin was his best friend, and I was his first girlfriend. My mama used to say, about our private areas, “THAT is called your special purpose, and when you grow up you will find out what that special purpose is!” 🙂 Guess he remembered.
By the way, I LOVE your blog. It is quite different from what I normally read and I smile every time I read you! Very insightful and beautifully written. THANKS!

The Jerk is one of my favorite movies of all time. I still laugh out loud every time I watch it. I am awestruck to be corresponding with one of its inspirations.
Your kind words for Head Muscle are truly gift enough. I am honored to have your readership. See you in the Ether!
