Great thoughts – the poetry of Wisdom from many sources…

Wayne Dyer, on the radio one day. He had just written a book called You’ll See It When You Believe It. Dyer said that if you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad day, you’ll rarely disappoint yourself. He said, “Stop complaining! Differentiate yourself from your competition. Don’t be a duck. Be an eagle. Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd.”

Every little bit of BS takes on a life, in this life, as life shattering importance.

Men imagine that thoughts can be kept secret, but they cannot. They rapidly crystallize into habit and habit solidifies into circumstance. Be careful of your thoughts.

Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good thoughts and actions. Men understand this in the natural world (nothing can come from corn see except corn) – but few understand it in the mental and moral world.

Suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction. This is an indication that the individual is out of harmony with himself.

You cannot compare or rate your trials with the trials of others. It’s all in the perception.

Don’t take yourself so seriously. God loves you because of who He is, not who you are.

To acquire fresh knowledge intellectually makes no change in the soul. It is the use of that knowledge that changes everything.

addendum to fear: can you remember the worries or fears of last year? Are then still as fearsome, as important, as they were then? Next year or the next after will you be even able to remember them?
And today’s fear- will it be different from all the reset? It will not. It too shall pass.——the underlying cause of all trouble is fear.

There are MOMENTS that BALANCE years.

It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today. James Freeman Clarke

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much – Jesus Christ.

Everything that happens to us leaves some trace behind: everything contributes imperceptibly to make us what we are – Goethe

Don’t get caught in the rut of existence, never looking up to see what is going on around you. Days are numbered.

Use your mental apothecary- your pharmacy, for natural healing.

The key to freedom is what we do with the pain. Do we process it and deal with our emotions and wounds? Or do we stuff it, along with all the other traumas we have experienced….and are experiencing over and over…….you must forgive to forget.
