(Sigh: a long deep, audible breath expressing an emotion; usually tiredness, sadness, or relief)
The sound of my husband’s truck when he’s returning home from the days work.
The sound of the ocean in a seashell.
The sight of a kitten, puppy, or a baby.
The sight of someone hugging another tightly – for whatever reason.
The smell of fresh cinnamon rolls.
The smell of the pines after rain.
The touch someone who really cares.
The touch of the wind brushing against my cheek.
The taste of chocolate as I melt it in my mouth.
The taste of my husband’s lips against mine.
The knowledge, that after all these years of my life,
from within my heart of hearts, I still know God is not man made,
but man, made by God.
The knowledge that we can always choose a positive response to life, and
that we have the power of prayer – if we just use it.
A TOUCH OF SPRING FOR YOU

“The knowledge, that after all these years of my life, from within my heart of hearts” and “always choose a positive response to life” … are the most interesting things of this passage.

Thank you for your comments. I think those comments are the most important of the post – for sure! Blessings to you and yours. By the way, loved “a smiling head attached to body….. My husband calls me “the human happy face.”
