What am I grateful for today!

Let me think.  I am grateful to be alive and see the sun rise another day.I am grateful, when I struggle to reach to be able to put on a sock – that I have socks to put on!

I am grateful when I eat this banana because there are so many who don’t have food, and it breaks my heart for them.

I am grateful for being able to brush long hair.  I have known men and women who have cancer and no longer have hair to brush because of chemotherapy; who no longer have their lives because of the cancer.

I am grateful for my hips, though they ache because the bones have no cushioning, I have hips.  I think of the young men and women in our military, and around the world, who have lost their legs, or arms, or faces-because of our leaders continuing to pursue unnecessary wars for financial gain.

I am grateful as I let my dog out in the yard, to have company, when my husband is gone eight to ten hours a day to work.  I am grateful he has work, and grateful to know I have someone coming home, and that we’ll laugh together.

I am grateful for the confidence, after all theses years, there is a Spiritual Leader, whatever you may name Him, that is implanted in our hearts and living souls.  I am grateful I know I am never really alone, and that prayer is a gift to empower and help us.

That’s the tip of the ice-berg.  What are you grateful for today?

Where ever we are, who ever we are, we are not alone! Just be friendly with each and every soul around, green trees, blue waters, fish, birds and people… greet all….to be greeted by them all, to make you feel always that you are not at all alone.
    Thank you

I never really feel “alone”. I think it’s normal to sometimes want to see people you love, that may be far away, or have a friend surprise you and drop by. When I get your comments I feel as if a friend has stopped by! Thank you!

      Dear Marsha,
thank you for your feelings about me or my comments.

Hope I was not clear about what I told… I did not address that to you, nor that I wanted to say that you are alone… but for people who think they are alone, I feel the things what I wrote may be helpful. Please forgive me if I made something wrong.

      affly,
      prasad.
