I am fairly sizzling with zeal and enthusiasm!

I have a long way to go in the “healing arena”, but I am on my way.  God bless you all and God bless God!

Never give up, and never give in.  Even when you feel the best is over – it’s not!   It’s a choice.  A new way, a new day, a new time to adjust your thinking to accommodate room for all the wonderful things that may happen, all the new challenges you will have, and all the surprises along the way.

You KNOW it’s not getting to the top of the mountain that is exciting, but the thrill of the trail winding to the top that is exciting.

I am as sure this morning, as anyone can ever be, I have great times too come.  As a matter of fact, I am pulling them towards me by keeping my faith, using prayer as an ally and being willing to work hard enough to feel the sting of “positive pain” in healing.

I am also of a mind that if you do not allow ANYTHING to pull you down, except for those times you allow yourself to mourn a loss, or even times to feel sorrow or sadness,  you will hang on to the hope of a new dream – maybe more than one!  Allot time for human emotion to wrench your heart, and then  onward and upward, my friend.

NEVER let fear or pain take charge.  You are in charge.  When the winds of change are raging, keep your faith – and if you haven’t used the power of prayer or faith – why not try to pray now.  If that just isn’t your bag, well, I promise, if you keep a positive attitude, are kind and work hard…..good things will come to you.  You are rooted with divine love and if you keep on “keepin’ on”, divine love will bring you to a new place in your life.

Dare to be what you are meant to be and do what you are meant to do, and life will provide you the means to do it and be it.  It is never too late to rephrase your thoughts, refine and correct your words, and take the first steps to reactivate dreams for your life.  Don’t forget, either, age has nothing to do with it at all.  Late bloomers flower bigger!

The most important and first exercise to do in order to change your life and manifest your dreams, is to exercise your intellect.  Work on patience, drop those negative words and thoughts, and every time you are about to step into another deep hole, take a breath and stop.

It is ALL a choice.  Every moment of your life is a choice.  Don’t think you have control over anything that happens.  Mostly we don’t.  But you ALWAYS have the choice in how to respond to life.

We each live in a world of our own thoughts………….by altering your thoughts, whenever YOU REALLY WANT TO,  you will change your life.  It will take practice, but if you choose your thoughts carefully, and change your consciousness,,, you will find there is no limit to the heights to which you can climb.

CREATE a wonderful day full of each moment having relevance and I will do the same.


By the way, an update on my accident and healing.  I am WALKING with a walker.  I hit a milestone yesterday.  I can drive (safely) to physical therapy.  I will be going under intense physical therapy three times a week for three months, and then we’ll see about the walker!  And, even though my left ankle is still paralyzed, I was given a gift.  My right foot is numb on the outside rim (and all the way up my leg), but there is enough feeling in the middle of my foot, and my ankle works, so I can really drive safely!

I would never drive were there a doubt in my mind.  Remember, three months ago I couldn’t walk!  I am so excited to find out where this new path is leading me.  I have cried, and mourned, and now I am a happy puppy taking baby steps.  Yahoo.  God is good.  God bless you all, and remember: It’s a choice.”

Oh friend so far away ,

You sent me light and love today!

Can I still be blue and drown in pain?

Pain Bites!

First, let me say this, I published this on my stressmanagementmagic website so you may have read it: however, I just re-read it and it helped me, so I am publishing it here in case it may give you a hand in dealing with YOUR pain!  Have a beautiful day – no matter what!

Definition of Pain:  aching, tingling, throbbing, stabbing, debilitating, punishment (really!), agonizing, piercing, horrific, mild, severe……WHATEVER!

Pain is pain, but it’s not all the same.

Mine is worse than yours.

No yours worse than mine.

“I’ve had mine longer.”

“But mine is stronger.”

“Well I have mine all the time.”

Pain, therefore, is whatever the person experiencing it, says it is.

As we compare our pain with someone else, an epiphany must occur.   There is NO COMPARISON to be made.  Since every single one of us is a different human being, and our chemical makeup, spiritual base, experiences, physiology, and intellect are diverse, a comparison is not only impossible, it is ludicrous.

The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) defines pain as “an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage or described in terms of such damage.”

However, pain is a symptom that cannot be objectively assessed by another.  The person who is having it must assess pain!

I won’t say I had more pain today than any other person.  I can only judge for myself when I say it was a rough pain day today.  I probably exacerbated it because I find it nearly impossible to sit still, even with a compressed fracture of L1.

Keep in mind now with that being said – we can control our pain, in part.  Pay attention to pain.  It is a warning.  It can also be a consequence.

You have a right to your honest pain, and so do I.  You cannot feel guilty because others might have more pain than you and you feel like a whiner.

We all handle pain differently, and only you can be the judge as to how you handle pain.  I personally can handle a fair amount of pain without grumbling or crying, but there is a point when I allow myself tears or extra prayers, or just feeling low for a time.

What I have discovered is that not allowing myself to wallow in pain seems to diminish the overwhelmed feeling I might have had.

Another thing that helps my pain is to divert my attention to something or someone else.  Hence, today I write about pain, and actually – I feel better now.

Lastly, always remember to use your oxygen to help control your pain.  When we feel pain we have a tendency to hold our breath because of it.  When that pain hits, TAKE a DEEP SLOW BREATH in and visualize the oxygen going to the area that needs to be healed.  It will.

Remember breathing creates a pharmaceutical of wonderful natural painkillers for you.  Truly.  That is the physiology of the body.

When you exhale, visualize all the carbon dioxide and lots of pain flying out your fingertips into oblivion.  Then do the whole thing for five minutes or so.  You will feel better.  I hope you do!

NEVER let your pain, or the challenges of  life, swallow you whole!

Stand up and shout, “I’ll never let go”.

I have love to give, and life to live, no matter

the challenges are before me.

I will hang on with my fingertips, or my toes if need be,

To move onward and upward and claim  – “I am free.”

Free to choose to follow the direction from Spirit.

Free to sing prayers of praise to our God.

Free to heal and be happy, consumed by the power of love!

CREATE A BEAUTIFUL WORLD FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES (and even strangers-we are supposed to love one another).  Rest and recreate with your children.

Hug your mama and daddy for their times are limited.  Be a NICE human.  The word nice is quite underrated.  I have been married to the nicest man I ever met for almost twenty five years, and we are still in love!

Do something kind for someone today.  If you are in pain, dire pain, take a breath.  Think of the oxygen healing from within.  When you exhale, release all the negative feelings into oblivion.  YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU KNOW!  My love and blessings to you all.

Please also remember there are many kinds of pain – physical and mental.  Never “judge” that you understand another persons pain until you have walked a mile in his moccasins.  The Cherokee nation suggest that, and I affirm, until I had suffered the same problem as my mama, I thought I knew what she was going through.  I really didn’t understand the depth of her pain.  So be patient with people and pray for them.  Be kind.

My priorities have to be aligned before I can sit before my computer and tend to what I love to do so much.  I love to write.  When I write I am unrestricted in thoughts and words and can convey what life experiences, joys and sorrows, have been mine – in hopes that a word or action will touch another living soul in a positive way.

We all have mountains and valleys to forge through to keep on the path of the evolving story of our lives.  Just remember that we CREATE our own story by the CHOICES we make, and the way we RESPOND to those unexpected peaks and caverns we must circumvent.

God gives us INGENUITY when we LISTEN to that small voice from within us.  You’ve heard it, I know.  I believe it was implanted within every single one of us before we become living souls.

Sometimes we hear it when we have that “gut level” feeling to say or do something.  We hear it when we feel intuitive about knowing what to do.  We hear it LOUDLY when we are persistent in PRAYER!

So listen to yourself (the REAL you) and do and say what you “feel” is the right thing to do.  We all have the capacity to do and say the right things, but sometimes we deny ourselves the truth.  We “justify” doing or saying something because there is a spark in us that can go either way, if we allow it.  I have been there. I have justified things at times in my life, and I have paid the price.  Don’t be fooled, there is always a price.  I know that is the truth, and I will not mince the truth here.

Shakespeare said it beautifully:  “This above all, to thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”

Truth will always come to the forefront.  So don’t lie to yourself particularly – let the authentic YOU be awakened and you will find the path becomes easier….if not in landscape, within YOUR OWN HEART and LIVING SOUL…..which will, in the short / or long-run brighten your path along the way.

You probably read this, but I just love the saying.  “It isn’t the destination – it’s the journey!”

Have a BEAUTIFUL DAY.  Do something kind “just because”.  It will feel so good – and you can keep it a secret between you and your Creator.  Be a light in the darkness.

I CARE!  Now smile and take a deep breath and ENJOY each challenge today.

State of the Union

“Oh once in a while I see a homeless person on the corner.  It’s so sad”, I’d say.  I would say a prayer, donate what I could, fix a lunch to take to them, or share water with them on a hot day.

Now it’s become common to have them on every other corner, and all ages.  Something has to change here in the USA.

Is this the State of the Union for the future of our children?

Occupy What? Gas prices?

Occupy what? It’s one of those times when I awake that I must sit and write.
I don’t understand the occupy movement. I know youth is full vibrant, and full of
hope and dreams…I understand that. I still have dreams.

But I see no great help from the occupy movement. I wonder who has the time to sit and camp and make a bad reputation for the entire movement.

I wonder what they are accomplishing except a further division between people of the USA. The program now, if you aren’t aware of it, is to divide and separate the people of the USA. Technology is a vast part of this movement, though I love the use of technology in the positive way, and I felt lost the last 10 days with no access to the internet, and limited “connections”.

Would someone please tell my why the violence in the occupy movements; why the rapes and disheveled attitudes of the people in general.

Why are they there? They are but pawns in this movement to control the people. The media is there to tear out the worst of it and, as they do, point out all the lies and negativity of everything!

Next. I dreamed of a nuclear reactior sitting in the middle of the small town, surrounded by the village and mountains. No one seemed to notice.
I was sickened.

When I noted to everyone it was there, it was obvious they had chosen to ignore it. They were given whatever they wanted to shut them up, and then they could go on living as they chose.

When I have soil in my yard I plant vegetables and flowers and trees. I clean up the area. I use it to partake of nature and keep it harm free. The dream was a nightmare.

For the energy provided, are those fifteen (I think) new reactors to be built worth the risk? Ask the Japanese people.

I don’t understand why we can’t use our resources and oil and keep the price of gas down so the downtrodden citizens (and we are) can afford to live…
if not barely!

I don’t give a crap about politics. It’s all a lie for power and money. Don’t you think you’d vote for the candidate who spent his millions on the poor, the Red Cross, and to help others? I would. But it’s never going to happen.

We’ve been duped. We are being torn apart on grounds of culture, sexual preferences, religion, and world trade. A house divided – falls.

Pray (whatever spiritual path you follow). Love one another. Do what you can that MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Take time to sign a petition, if it is valid. Stop wasting hours on useless places on the internet. Do something.
Play with a child. Work hard, or look for work, hard. Don’t give up, but don’t give in.

I’ve lived a large portion of my life, but I will never give up hope and faith.
Do what you know to be right in your heart. Pull together as a people in the secret of keeping your thoughts and actions worthy. You will know a brother or a sister. Bond in ways that will hold the fabric of YOUR lives together – if not for you – for the children.

Try to “get it” – we are on the precipice of Mad Max, and in the center of Big Brother. If you don’t know what I mean, if you can’t relate, ask someone.

God bless you all. I just returned from a 10 day trip to see my husband and welcome my new grandson. I have to catch up, so if there are errors, I will correct later….was just impelled to write this…and these days, I listen to that inner voice EVERY time. Much love to my human brothers and sisters. Quran, Infrastructure and Refinance Horror

Did you know there are several different publications of the Holy Quran? Have you read even one of them? No? I haven’t either. I’ve read the Bible and thoroughly “get it”. I haven’t read the Quran because I am not of the Islam faith. I think this idiot that declares God has spoken to him is nothing but an instigator who now loves the publicity.

If he were truly a Christian he would know in the Bible it says “Each man must choose”; he would also favor the forgiveness and love Jesus showed….he would be a man of peace.

His church is a total of FIFTY people. He DOES NOT represent AMERICA.

“It is the duty of Muslims to react,” said Mohammad Mukhtar, a cleric and candidate for Afghan parliament.
“When their holy book Quran gets burned in public, then there is nothing left. If this happens I think the first and most important reaction will be that wherever Americans are seen, they will be killed. No matter where they will be in the world they will be killed.”

So there it is. A nat’s ass of a man who calls himself a Christian is instigating violence all over the world because of his stupidity. Who will suffer? The INNOCENT PEOPLE that always suffer…..

Just as I believe the Muslims should show “respect” and build elsewhere than at the 9/11 sight, I think Jones should show respect and back off of burning the Holy Quran.

He is NOT my representative of Christianity, nor of my beliefs. He is ONE MAN and FIFTY people – for the sake of millions he needs to be stopped somehow…
obama, wasn’t the first offering of billions of dollars given to the banks and who knows where else (I understand there are still unspent billions) – supposed to include money for infrastructure projects?

Of course obama was talking to unions about another fifty billion dollars to stimulate the flailing economy and repair highways and railways (what about bridges and levees?). They donated billions to get him into office and this is part of their payoff. What happened to the last stimulus money and jobs?

A world class train to keep up with Europe? How about food on the table?

I have an idea. Let’s bring all the jobs that are in India, the Philippines, etc.etc.etc. home. It would be employment for many Americans. Let’s insist manufacturers leave China and Mexico, and other countries, and come home to make things in America.

I am so sick of picking up ANY object and seeing the “made in China” – a reminder that almost everything is made in China. Don’t dead dogs, paint on cribs that make infants sick, toys that are toxic, etc. etc. say, “Made in China is crap”.

I am tired of NOT being able to understand an AT&T operator because the call is routed to India. I am NOT opposed to having a difficult time understanding someone who is from India, but let it be AMERICANS that hold the jobs….India’s citizens IN AMERICA.
Here it is. The last complaint of the day.

My husband has been working out of town for 1 1/2 years in order for us to exist. We pay two rents. We pay our bills on time and our credit scores reported from all three agencies are between 789 and 800. That’s very, very good.

We WERE middle class Americans. We have never been late on a mortgage payment. We tried to get a refinance at the incredible interest rate that is happening now. Guess what?

Because of the foreclosures and folks having to sell cheaply just to get something from their home they can no longer afford – WE DON’T QUALIFY. Our appraisal
(because of the activity of the homes surrounding us) is too low. We are dead in the water.

So WHY are we working so hard to be good citizens? I am not sure. The people behind us only pay $80.00 because they are in HUD housing….they party all the time and get drunk and wasted, and get medicade and food stamps. Yahoo.

I also find it sickening that EVEN AFTER heart surgery or any medical service given to those on medicade, they still are allowed to smoke!

Here are another couple of ideas:
Drug test those applying for HUD housing. Make it a stipulation that if anyone has a medical problem that can be caused by smoking – they can only get the service if they quit doing it.

It all makes me feel frazzled!

Hmmmm. This week my husband and I are rethinking our lives. We are not criminals or evil people. We are good people – but something has to change. We are throwing away our time together working for NOTHING..
we pay illegals, prisoners, users, indigents, and drug users. What is wrong with this picture????

Phew. Time to reheat my morning coffee, step out into the yard and count my real blessings…love, health, a cool morning, and hope!

I vow to find humor somewhere in the day and I know it will also help to get me back to my old self!

Feels good to release my thoughts from festering within.

Remember: No matter what happens or what you fear, you have the CHOICE to create each moment of your life.
Choose carefully as there is no guarantee of how many moments any of us have left.

Oh, and remember to vote. I am a political atheist, but I want REAL change…yes I do!

Tips to REALLY De-Stress
Suck it in and take a minute to read this!

Here are some ideas to help you reduce stress throughout the day.

1. If anyone at work looks at you crossly, say, “I don’t like the way you are looking at me”, then empty a trash can on the floor. Smile and walk away.

2. Shut your feelings and emotions up in a vault. Don’t trust anyone and don’t believe 99% of words spoken. They are all liars and frauds!

3. When you get home, if your mate or partner or roommate has left clothes lying around, simply spit on them and say, “You’d like it better if you had them in the hamper.

4. When you have to have somebody over and cook a dinner for him/or her (if you aren’t crazy about them) – don’t spit in their food; but put some disgusting spices together and make something horrible. Then serve it to your guest, smiling.

6. If you have to listen to someone and they are boring at the moment, tune them out. Men are naturals at doing this.
It’s like not being there when you are actually there.

7. Today a lady in the store starting smiling and talking to me. If it happens to you, look her in the eyes and say, “shut up”. Then smile and turn away.

8. When someone is riding your ass and they don’t get the message – slam on your breaks and make them hit you. It will be their fault.

9. When you are asked if something that someone (man or woman) does that is bad – like singing – tell them to shut up too. Assholes.

10. Lastly, when someone tries to tell you something you know isn’t accurate – just smile and punch him or her in the face. Then walk away laughing.
There now. Don’t you feel better? I know I do. ☺

A stress management technique for your pleasure! Get it out of your head and move on to the next unknown moment. No one can say life isn’t an adventure!

If you can’t even laugh at something (maybe not this:) – then you need to seek a counselor, family and friends help, internet health information highway, yoga, massage, or whatever it takes to calm down. Take a breath. Feel better! Someone really does care.

I do believe in God. I do believe in miracles. I also believe in the hell that is evolving into a nightmare on this planet. I need to drop to my knees more often. Not in fear of a nuclear attack, but with my palms faced upward asking for direction.

We can become overcome with trials and tribulations of DAILY living. Don’t forget to keep your faith strong and be grateful for all the blessings we take for granted.
