A Tad of Negativity – only a tad (small amount)

August 13, 2015

Aren’t you excited? Everything must be okay – isis  (I never capitalize anyone or anything I have no respect for)  must be under control! Why would the president be in Martha’s vineyard playing golf, otherwise.
Is the one year anniversary of the death of a bully, who beat someone up that day (did you see the video), and then stole, and really was the bad one, a celebration or a mourning? The officer was doing his job. I know there are some really good officers, and some corrupt, as within every area of business. (Politics, for instance.)

Let’s go a week without ANY police on duty in the country. What do you think? It would be a good eye-opener for sure.

Another celebration here in CA. If you are a prisoner and you decide you want to be transgender, no worries – it will be paid for completely. Then of course the jail will have to transfer the transgender to an appropriate facility. A judge in San Francisco decreed that law into life.

But let a senior citizen try to live on social security, or pay for their own glasses and teeth (because these things are not covered), and the point of it all becomes mute. Except for the evil laughter of the few who govern us all.

I know we are all supposed to cut down on water. Do you think moonbeam (the governor – what’s his name) does? How about prisoners? You know they have more rights and benefits that senior citizens, many whom who have dedicated their lives to working hard and being a good citizen. Does that make everyone happy….not from what I hear neighbor to neighbor, and in the markets, and all around where the peasants live.

You know why Trump is so popular now – don’t you? You do, I know it. He is not a political mastermind (thank God) – he just knows he won’t back down or take any BS from anyone. He doesn’t have to curtsy for those who donate money to campaigns. He may not be “politically correct” but he is refreshing and I cannot help but like him.  He can’t be bought, and obviously thus far, he can’t be hushed into submission.

Please – I lived through the Kennedy clan rule – think about it before you vote for another Clinton or Bush.  Enough is enough.  I would RATHER have the Donald before either of them – even Donald Duck would do.

Regarding Megan Kelly-she did attack him and it was not a question that was anything but aimed at making him look like a fool. I don’t know any man who hasn’t said something about a woman at one time or another – that doesn’t mean he is a woman hater. Frankly I don’t know any woman who hasn’t said something negative about a man at least once. Comes with the gender differences……..

OH THAT’S RIGHT – a few people complained and now Target no longer has a boys section and a girls section…..every thing is going to all be mixed together to be neutral “to be fair”.

Throw-up, puke, hurl, vomit, yuk, I am so sorry to enlighten these folks – but really (with rare exceptions) humans are born BOY and GIRL, with matching parts. Let’s REALLY confuse the little ones. If they aren’t “different” let’s mix them up so much they don’t know who or what they are – for sure!

There is a bit of boy and girl in all of us!  DUH!  I am a peasant princess but I loved to climb trees and play hard.

I remember in the old movie with big brother – 1986 (written way prior to that) – all men and women had cubicles to work in and they all dressed in a neutral kind of gray color. They all were separated by big brother making sure they were so busy with work and then drinking booze to relax – no relationships were bonded.

Lastly, I just want you all to know I should have copy written the name YEARS ago when I began to write my blog. If you just look up “Relax, it’s just Life” – a man has written a book (think 2012) and has taken the name as his own. Oh well no one REALLY owns anything except their own thoughts and actions.

So OWN yourself today, and as Dan the Man says, CREATE a beautiful day for you and those in your circle of life…be it a small circle or a large one. A small light in the darkness can change everything.  Insist of a great day and small through all the BS…all of it really isn’t important in the long run.  Insist on FUN.  My sis and I used to pretend everything was a Saturday night live skit.

It really does put most things in a better prospective!

Addendum:  I am terrible at using tags and categories…I just seem to go blank when I do that! I know it is important.  I will work at it!  Now a lovely Hawaiian Orchid for your pleasure.

Park City FlowersJPG

If you know the names of the flowers in the second and third photo – please share with us.  Of course the first one is Orchids.  Have a safe and wonderful weekend.  If you find yourself tearful or terribly unhappy read  I hope it will lighten your load!  God bless us all!

A bunch of naked ladies and a stitch in time.

A blunch of naked ladies

Sorry a bit fuzzy – but you get the idea.

Yes they flowers are called naked ladies!  Did I trick you?

They are called that because they have no leaves or branches – they simply grow flowers.  Cool, eh?

This is kind of sad.  stitchMy wrist had to have surgery because I broke it in 2011.  Sad because our medical folks are becoming careless.  Maybe they always were.

The last few weeks I noticed some pain and a strange ball in the area of the surgery.  It kept getting more painful and bigger. I asked my husband to take a needle and open it up.  Of course he did, and guess what… was a stitch the doctor had forgotten / or missed taking out. It was a little over a quarter inch.  It had been working it’s way to the surface!

My wrist feels fine now.  And that’s my post for the day!  Have a beautiful day – IT IS YOUR CHOICE!  God bless.

Cloth grocery bags, remote controls, and border control

November 2, 2014

This is why I vote for the cloth bag to put groceries in.Toe use

My bag broke and a can of dog food hit exactly where the toenail hits the skin. Ouch!

Probably will loose the nail.  This photo was taken two weeks after the fact.

The only drawback I can see for cloth bags is when there is a big family, it will take some large bags, or big trash bags. Don’t know how that will work….

Am I the only lame woman around,or do you think most women HATE remote controls? I hate them all. The reason my husband is in charge of them is because if I start to use them I still get totally lost!

Lastly, what I cannot figure out is why our government is so “dull” (in the brain area) about keeping our borders safe.

The great wall of China was built in the 7th Century BC. to protect the Empire against intrusions.

The wall is 5,500 miles long and is one of the wonders of the world.

7th cent. BCOh, I remember why we can’t accomplish something like that. It is all about the way the government wants to do things, and the swaying of monies. The peasants have no say in anything really.

Mid-term elections cost at least a billion dollars – these folks pay millions each to be elected. It’s pretty lucrative LIFETIME EMPLOYMENT. Even if you aren’t elected again, you still get tons of perks.

Sorry about the photo being blurry – it is a copy of a copy!

Can’t say any more than that as it is a beautiful day and I am going to go outside and enjoy these moments in time.

Here are some flowers to brighten your day if you are unable to enjoy the outdoors today.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMay these lovely flowers add a bit of sunshine to your day – and perhaps, a smile!

God bless you and those in the circle of your lives.

GOOD MORNING! It is a good morning! I choose it to be so.

October 4, 2013

Good morning to all.  I awoke with my first memory being the look in the eyes of the physical therapist when she began therapy, yesterday, for my feet and ankles.  She also works on my spine….for some reason she really didn’t realize how BAD I am.  I knew.  J

I felt bad for her as she showed real concern, and the look was that of a person looking at a drowning ship, but being unable to do much to help.  So the first thought was overwhelming – but then, being a lover of God, and keeping the faith, I thought about a daisy.

I can count the blessings I take for granted on each and every petal.  I thought about it.

Wow.  That’s lots of blessings!  I opt for happiness and pray for healing to the best of my ability. I will not let joy diminish as life is so fleeting and each moment counts – if you let.

This will be a brief post as I have much I want to do today.  However, here is a small list of some of my blessings.  I wanted to share.

Hot water for a shower

A cool morning breeze that not only wisps through the leaves, but whispers though them, singing, “It’s morning.  Another day to CHOOSE happiness”

My faith, and my faithful husband

My Children and grandchildren and family

The big eyes of my dog looking to me for instruction and love, and sharing her love all the while

A visit from friends

My fingers that work perfectly so I can type this post

Someone who likes what I am writing, and perhaps may benefit from my posts

Though I have a long way to go, the fact I am able to walk

The smell of coffee in the morning

Those are just a few joys in my treasure chest of blessings.  But if I think long enough, I bet I could find as many blessings as there are on these flowers!

Look for yours too, and have a WONDERFUL time looking for treasures to fill your

treasure chest.  They are there!

I have a post about internet scams that could be helpful, and I will try to put it up today.

My husband and I almost fell for a scan.

In the meantime, I am going to dry myself with a fluffy towel after I take a hot shower and enjoy my coffee.  I care and want you to be happy too.  It is a choice!

Some spices may be laced with salmonella.  seven percent of imported spices carry salmonella.  Some 15 percent of coriander, twelve percent of oregano and basil and four percent of black pepper tested positive.  The infection causes diarrhea, fever, cramps, and in RARE cases death.  Best way to avoid being sickened is to apply before cooking – since heat kills the bacteria.

I read an article that said on average left-handed people earn six percent less than right- handed people.  Researches speculate the difference is caused by brain abnormalities that are more common among the left-handed.  (Reference – AND YOU BET I will check this out.  I am left-handed.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.  So you have to TRUST that the dots will somehow connect in your future.  You have to trust in something-your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.  This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

                                    Steve Jobs

If you laugh out loud, it increases your heart rate, can reduce stress, and it actually fights infection!  So get started.  J

When you hold on to resentment it is like swallowing a poison and hoping the other person will die.  Just doesn’t make sense.

I had a TERRIBLE PAIN day!  But guess what?  Life goes on.  I managed it as best as possible, took care of what needed to be done, and remembered that any moment could be my last one – so I worked through the pain and whatever limits it puts on my life, smiled, and thought… “Whatever” – this too shall pass.  Be happy!  I had a good day. I am still in terrible pain, but maybe tomorrow it will settle down….who knows!

I just refuse to be miserable, and I will never give up, and never give in.  No miserable sourpuss in my home!  Just happy little me.  Onward and upward.  YOU BE HAPPY TOO!  God bless.  Here is a bouquet for you!

Choice Quotations – I wish I’d said these!

September 10, 2013

“You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

You’re on your own. And you know what you know.

And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go.”

Dr. Seuss

“He who laughs, LASTS.”

Mary Pettibone Poole (I don’t know who she is but I loved this quote!)

My quote for the day is:  “Remember when you get down, somebody out here in cyberspace truly cares about you!”

How can I do that?  I believe we were born to love; therein, how could I not really care?  HAVE a Beautiful day!

Choose to do it and don’t let anything keep you down, or make you miserable!

Here are flowers for your pleasure!

These are pomegranate blossoms!

A Gift to You from God

A Gift to You from God

Choose your vision – Choose wisely

August 7, 2013

ImageWhen I photographed this flower I did so because the color was vibrant and I thought the flower such a lovely creation.  When I took it off the camera I noticed something else.

Did you see it too?

I see a Happy Face.  Sometimes our vision of things around us is clouded by emotions and prejudices.  Open your mind to clarity and choose the character of what you face, clearly.  Your choices will meld into your life….whether positive or negative.  Remember also, you cannot judge a book by its cover.  Apply this to “first visions” and keep your mind pure in thought, with judgements reserved until a time you may be called upon to decide “with knowledge”.

I immediately saw a Happy Face, and I hope you did too.  Keep those visions positive and pull that positive “power” towards you.  Your life will blossom like a flower – I promise!

Just too difficult

Flowers for You

I don’t think even the finest of movie buffs could remember where the quote “You’ve got to keep regular if you want to be happy.” came from.  It was Mr. Hallerun, in the Shining, with Jack Nickelson.

Even though the statement is REALLY true in the physiology of the human body, I prefer this statement.  Which is also true.

Your thoughts can be like ravenous wolves.  Don’t let the impact of the world shatter your thoughts.  You want to control things?  You have one hundred percent control of your thoughts (think about it) and your actions, or reactions.

Choose your thoughts wisely. Choose your actions with intellect in charge, and not raw emotions.  To get there – use your oxygen and it will calm you and help you gain control of the day.

Have a beautiful one!
