Korea, the President, football and Prayer.

October 3, 2017

MY PERSONAL OPINION:
I think, NO MATTER how you voted, we should try to be open to support OUR president. If I had been a multimillionaire with a beautiful wife and children – the last thing I would want to do is take on on the headaches and trauma’s some presidents are forced to face. He can always be voted out, and thus far, his sending help to Texas, Florida and now Puerto Rico has been commendable.
I have watched, in my lifetime, N. Korea cause MANY problems prior to this. He did not cause the current problems. I do think he should limit his tweets, but it is his way of trying to reach out to people and state his thoughts. Just because he is president doesn’t mean he doesn’t have free speech. (He should refrain from swearing, I think.) I do love the way he doesn’t pussy foot around and apologize for America. Everyone knows you must stand up to a bull or he will walk all over you!
I agree with his stance on honoring the flag, and National Anthem – which represents all those men and women who have been wounded and died to keep our nation free. As a woman I have enjoyed football, but this was NOT about race. I love my freedom. Hence, I will not honor those who besmear the flag or anthem, and disgrace those who have given so much.
I will live without big time football viewing on television or internet, or in person. These multi-million spoiled children need to know when to protest. If they choose NOT to honor America in these ways, that is their right, but stay in the locker rooms as a sign of respect. If you don’t love AMERICA….(she has made you wealthy), LEAVE!
By the way, “the poor will always be with us”. We are born in bodies we do not choose, and in towns and financial conditions we have no choice about either. Racism was NOT born in the USA. It was born in another place, and grew because someone (of color)- chose money over anything else!
Obama was not my favorite president. It wasn’t because he was black, but because during his time I saw racism bloom again, and disdain for our men in blue grow exponentially. Use the word “decisive”, a word the media has sat squarely on Trump, and you will be just following those who’s tongues hang out on every word that is printed or spoken by them. obama was decisive. “Keep your doctor, keep a plan you like…”
With all the talk of “racism” I still see people of color that are thriving in the USA; I still see the murder rate of blacks murdering blacks way above white murdering blacks. Read everything you can get your hands on if you are interested in “finding” the truth. “The truth will set you free……”
I know Americans are relentless in “giving” to causes that help other humans in need. God bless us one and all for doing what we can. It doesn’t matter if you are grocery shopping, or on line or television, peasants are plagued by requests for CASH. May I say again, ANY of these VERY VERY rich sob’s who have millions upon millions, and billions, could all pitch in and help those in need and they would still be rich….and the matters would be resolved-all around the world could be helped. Come on oprah, bill gates, ANY movie talent, congress members, members of the United Nations, george soros (HAHA), george clooney, comedians, football players, and SO SO MANY MORE!
It has been pointed out to me that many “stars” have given. But I did my homework and for these million and billionaires, their gifts amount to WAY LESS than 10% of their worth. To me that is just paying for advertising for each of them! However, I cannot be the judge of others.
It won’t happen. They may donate time to raise money. They may donate a pittance (and to peasants it seems a lot), when actually it is cheap advertising….alas, we can pray, and volunteer, and do what we can…and we will, for our Spirits are rich.
Last thought for the day….”Football players who feel they must protest – please just leave the space until the “honors” are done. Find another way to protest other than dropping to the knee!
Do not drop to the knee as a show of disrespect, or in a misplaced way of showing displeasure for something that wasn’t even at the forefront of the conversation. Get over yourselves!
I reserve dropping to the knee to humbly pray and show my respect to the Greatest Spirit of All.
(addendum: keep in mind when I do not capitalize names it is because that is my way of showing disrespect.)

Actors, Emmy’s and the Media

February 2, 2016

If the media would either SHUT UP or GET IT RIGHT – I will guarantee there would be more peace in the world. They stir the cauldron and write a potion that incites, aggravates, and puts fear in the hearts of men.

Just a bit of a correction concerning the Emmys, which honestly I hate and don’t watch. It is a group of people giving awards to other people who are already placed on pedestals and earn WAY TOO MUCH money.

First, do not tell me that Jada’s husband, Will, did not know she was going to film and post her complaints…. I have been married 28 years and even for non-stars (well, my husband is still a shining star to me), we could never keep that kind of thing from each other. My oh my, was her poor husband surprised when he saw her video. Baloney.

Secondly, she was wrong. Here are a few facts:

  1. The Academy has a larger percentage of American-Africans (note the order) than other branches.
  2. In the last few years best acting Oscars have gone to Forrest Whitaker (King of Scotland), Mo’Nique (Precious), Viola Davis (The Help), Lupita Nyong’O (12 Years a Slave), and a nomination to another actor in that movie, Chiwetel Ejiofor.
  3. Beyond that, 12 Years a Slave won three Oscars in 2014, Selma nominated for best picture 2015. A few months ago the academy gave Spike Lee an honorary Oscar for his contributions in the field.
  4. Mexicans (who are still a minority) count. Alejandro G. Inn won a directing Oscar last year, and is nominated again this year for Revenant.

I just think they were being infantile because (waa waa) Will didn’t win! Are Oscars about diversity anyway? – Or talent and excellence in acting and directing?

Jada’s innocent plea made me want to throw up. I wonder what she would look like with no plastic surgery and no makeup….poor multi-millionaire / or billionaire.

ANOTHER thought. Actors have money. Actors seem to “adopt” a lot. Actors always seem to adopt from another country – Africa mostly. I thought the biggest stumbling block for people to adopt here in the USA was the cost……what about the DIVERSE number of children in America’s orphanages?????

Holly weird and the Media – two evil representations of who is important, what should be worshipped, and everything we should shame ourselves for doing….but we can do EVERYTHING!

I got it out. The truth reigns. Now I have to brush my teeth and wash my face – after I throw up about all the crap – including this IOWA gar-baagge’. (You know – garbage!)

Racism

March 24, 2015

I am really sick and tired of all this talk about racism in the United States.  I do not see how we can have a Mulatto president (no one ever says this but he is as much white as black, and that is called a Mulatto), a billionaire hostess for television (Oprah), sports and newscasters, movie stars, scientists, athletes, musicians, educators, mayors and other politicians, etc. etc. etc. and be such a racist country!  I am not just talking about black – but Mexican, Asian and all other people originally from a different culture.

When you are born an American or become an American, or strive to become an American – then you are AMERICAN first, with individual “heritage” next = American African, American Mexican, American whatever!

We are a nation of mixed cultures, and if I do say so, whatever combination mixed seems to be quite nice combinations!

KEEP THE PEASANTS divided!  That is what this is all about.  If a people is divided it makes them powerless to have an uprising, or be any real problem for those “in charge” (politicians, bankers, and the fast growing monopolies).

They become just workers. You don’t have to stand united as a people to work 70 to 90 hours a week!

The PROBLEM, as I see it, IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN poverty and lack of REAL education.  Poverty causes a multitude of problems.

Do I have answers?  Not really.  Prayers, anything I am able to do within the realm of my world, and perhaps sharing my thoughts with those of you who enjoy my blogs.

I don’t care for Oprah myself, and I have strong reasons for that – but truth be told – I don’t KNOW Oprah and I am no one’s judge! She did rise from poverty and sexual abuse, to a woman with power and money.  It can be done.

Lastly for today, FYI, I am tired of being blamed for everything.  I was born white (actually I am a mutt) and have a mixed heritage. I look white. I had NOTHING to do with what happened over 100 years ago.  I believe in loving and kindness.  I am no man or woman’s judge, and when I “select” people to hang with (and I am particular) – it has NOTHING, ZIP, NADA to do with culture or heritage.  I want to spend my time with people who are loving, kind, curious, intelligent (that doesn’t always mean educated), funny, and very spiritual!

As a little additional factoid – it was the Portuguese who first used slaves from Africa. The people in America were the last to use humans for slaves.  Did you know their own countrymen (Africans) sold the first slaves and many thereafter!  The black man was the first to sell black men!

So lighten up everyone. The deal is to love the heart and spirit- and that comes in many colors!
