hollywood (or as I prefer to call it hollyweird)

July 30, 2017

This is just a short post  expressing MY point of view about that group who like to be known as “stars”. (NOT ALL, mind you, but a majority).

I am sick to death of all these “do-gooders” who say “This is good – this is bad”. They are human beings like the rest of us, except they make way too much money for what they do. Similar to the wage of athletes!

Here are a few of the things they present to us, after voicing big opinions and donating time (NOT MONEY), to their special causes and things that are really none of their damn business.
One thing they don’t know about is the REAL WORLD of human beings.

Used to love to dance to madonna when I taught fitness, but she has been such a loose canyon, a piece of trash and pervert for so many years I can’t even stand her not one tiny bit. Then standing up for women and saying the things she said – not my representative. Nor is the other piece of garbage (won’t mention her name) – who brought up women’s personal monthly time, in tasteless defense of what…trash talk?)

Now hollyweird in general. If you have been reading my blog you know when I have no respect for someone or something or place – I don’t capitalize. To me that reflects my disrespect in my small way.

I am up to my limit on hearing the name “Jesus” or “Jesus Christ” as a swear word. Even if I weren’t a Christian (of my own beliefs,) I would have respect for a man the caliber of Jesus in His historical record – as one of the most amazing human beings that has ever lived…

I understand when people say goddammit…don’t like it, but many believe there is more than one god. To offend me you would have to use the Great Spirit’s proper name, which is Jehovah.

But STOP with the using Jesus name as a swear word! How would it be if I said barrack Obama as a swear word, or someone you admired or loved. Remember my capitalization rule.

Next is the blatant disregard for the fact cigarettes kill people. Hollyweird is making it look cool again. NOT cool. Have you ever been with anyone dying of cancer or unable to breathe?

High on the list is violence and it’s association with sex and love. It makes me literally want to puke when I see some of the trash that is presented to the public. And the ratings are a big fat joke.

I went to rent movies for the weekend for a change and spent a while looking. I didn’t rent anything. I can tell you whats wrong with the people who watch lots of movies…hollyweird is brain-washing us!

EVERYTHING HAS BECOME COMMONPLACE! There is NOTHING special any more. You meet someone and within ten minutes he has backed you up against a wall and is doing you…not even a first date.

The ever so small percentage of honestly “unusual” people is brought to the forefront and PUSHED on us. IT is OKAY to ignore the physiology of the human body. We (even in schools now) are being trained to be unisex…..Soon everyone will work for the man and then watch a movie to be told what to think and what to do (Television is definitely included.) HBO, Netflix, etc….nothing is sacred anymore. And for the MAJORITY of us who are boring and normal, we have to listen to whining and moaning pressed upon us, to fulfill hollyweird’s agendas.

Because of multiple injuries to my husband (a few years ago) and myself-starting six years ago, we have done lots of sitting and watching! He really enjoys television and is one human being who sees the “trend” of mind-bending hollyweird is procuring on the population by unscrupulous and indirect means, through the media. However being a man of relentless strength of character, he sees right through it instead of changing….speaking of which I have a bone to pick with the media.

Millions of people live happily and safely every day, but instead of reporting as I believe it used to be, the things that are picked with a fine tooth comb are the nastiest of events that are either gory or insidious. They are events that work at ripping the fiber of us into shreds, and separating us.

Can’t bitch any more! It is too beautiful a day and I will not waste another moment on trash.
I just PRAY for the children and grandchildren – and for all of us who still live with God’s law guiding us. W have hope for the future. You do not have to be perfect to follow “the good”. I surely have made more mistakes in life than most, but still try to more onward and upward.

The legion of evil is many, but behind and in front, and within each of us, we quietly hold the truth and know the strength we will have in union when the time comes……….

Movie Reviews

August 12, 2014

A quick movie review. I feel qualified only because I have intelligence, taste and morals! (Actually, since my husband was hurt badly in 2003 and I was last year – we have watched (verifiably) over two thousand movies. That is sad, in a way, because we think holly weird passes the wrong messages to younger people.

Here goes:

Noah: The actors and special effects were jut fine, but something “lacked ” in the writing. If anyone was trying to see what Noah of the Bible was really like – this was wayyyyyy far off base. As far as everyone I have spoken with – the consensus is the same – entertaining, but nothing really special.

Under the Skin: For all the hype you would think this such an amazing move! It was- amazingly unprofound (is that a word?) and stupid. Yes, the actress is very pretty, and her nude body is fine too – but as far as the movie – YUK. Don’t spend your money. REALLY. It wasn’t a spectacular alien movie. She isn’t as pretty as Brad Pitt’s wife, you know who I mean, Angelina, and most of the movie was focused on her face. She has a nice smile, but as far as the rest of the acting – acting? Where? We watched it all because my curiosity is extreme, and I needed to know if there was a point I would be overwhelmed with the quality or story of the movie. NOT. If anything I was under whelmed. What a piece of trash and the time I spent “giving it a chance” is lost forever. Bleck!

Non-Stop with Liam NIiesem (that’s close) – what an unexpected A movie! I was totally shocked as I hadn’t heard of it, and it was one of those movies you can’t take your eyes off the screen because it is so exciting. Well worth the money. There is something sexy about that man.

Heaven is Real: I read the book. It was quite good, and a best seller because it is true. I don’t think the movie was quite as thrilling as the book, but my husband (who is crazy for wild stuff), even professed, he really enjoyed it.   A true story. I can relate to being “out of the body” as I was once after an accident…good to sit with family and ponder life and all that we can’t see.

Forgive the typing and all, I am still in a splint and with only my right hand (am left-handed) it is what you see is what you get. CHOOSE your movies carefully – they are sneaky in holly weird….we saw a movie (can’t think of the name of it) not too long ago, and NONE of the sexual violence was in the previews.

I had an attempted rape. It’s not funny, and it’s not sexy. Think of your daughters, sisters, mothers and girlfriends, guys, and don’t let that you see on screen entice you.

It’s your life – PICK AND CHOOSE!

BTway – I always choose “elderly or seniors with tags and categories as they NEED to be involved with life, with reality, with a part of what is happening now.  They have earned it!

MOVIE REVIEW – “PILOT”

February 15, 2013

I’ve never done a movie review in my life, though I have seen many stinky ones and many wonderful ones.  I am not a “fan” nor do I get faint or scream when a “star” comes near.

We are all people and they get paid more than fine surgeons, whether they produce something of quality or some hideously violent and murderous film.

My complaint has been “too much intense” focus on sex and violence concurrently, too many criminals being glorified (even on television on such shows as “Inmates”), too much smoking, and too little healthy humor and quality writing.

Though I think there have been stunning examples of all those qualities that would actually “teach the uneducated”, instead of being poor examples.

Last evening I rented a movie named PILOT.  Denzel Washington is a fine actor and his movies are usually thick with adventure and exciting scenarios.  I am trying to, but can’t recall a movie he has made that didn’t have a good point ultimately.  Anyway, I rented it for my hubby for Valentine’s Day.

I RECOMMEND this movie.  Yes it has a glimpse of nudity, but not reckless nudity; meaning demeaning and succinctly placed with horror of some type.

Yes it has drugs and lots of alcohol.  Yes, there is excitement that will keep you on the edge of your seat.  There are a few spots that might seem slow, but wait for it…

Hats off to Denzel Washington for a FINE portrayal of a real character.  He chose an excellent script that sends two  IMPORTANT messages to its audience.  Check it out and see if you discover what they are.  I would be interested in your thoughts.

Remember, different strokes for different folks, but I prefer NOT to sit in front of a movie that leaves me with less than when I began it.  We have plenty of evil and worthless crap going on in real life every day.

I’ve never written a review before, so it must have said something to me.

CREATE your life.  “As you thinketh, so shall you become.”  Make those thoughts and visions worthy of your Spirit within.
