This is difficult to write as ONE school shooting is too much, BUT I WISH ALL THESE SOURCES would get there facts correct. NOT 18 school shootings so far this year.
Sad to say, but this is FALSE information that is being published is to panic everyone and make them turn an avenue for those who want STIFF GUN CONTROL. They are trying to push the public down, and CHANGE PERCEPTIONS.
I have way more time to study than I would like as my injured kneecap is keeping me down – for now. I do study and I check many resources before I publish anything I consider important.
How do you get people to be so vocal, and march for something that is NOT the problem we are told? PUBLISH INCORRECT INFORMATION THAT PUSHES THEIR OWN AGENDA! Agenda is an important word, but one you won’t hear when those who have an agenda are trying to CHANGE opinions.
Public PERCEPTION is born when agenda’s are published in many news sources – and tweeted by “important men and women”.
IN our POPULATION there are many persons who are simply “misinformed”. They follow the leader! They are honorable and have a moral motive, but are being lined up like cattle going to slaughter. Check “Snopes”, check all the resources you can find. 18 is a false number!
As I said, any shooting DURING SCHOOL HOURS in a school, is MONSTEROUS! The death of one student or teacher – one human being, is very disturbing. HOWEVER, when a political group has an agenda they will use many resources to make their agenda panic people and have them fall in line!
There have NOT been 18 school shootings DURING a school day, ON the school grounds. It was a gun control group who first reported 18 shootings in 2018.
Everytown is an advocacy group that supports stricter gun laws. The number ALL COMES DOWN to how they “define” school shootings.
WE ARE ALL IMPORTANT. KEEP THAT IN MIND. We deserve truth, not “padded” lies to push the agenda of gun control.
I did research on the “numbers” and if you read with an open mind you will see the problem is MAGNIFIED BEYOND the truth of it…DO NOT HIT THE PANIC BUTTON.
The marches by high school students were easily started by politicians encouragement and support; those students who actually listen to their parents about gun control, and those who just wanted time off of school and publicity.
Hey, I know that is a broad statement, but you’d have to do much more research than I have done to disprove it! Are you willing to put the time and effort in to give me current statistics about that? 🙂
Students enrolled in public schools: 50.7 million
Students in private schools: 5.2 million
Number students home schooled: 1.7 million
This totals: 57.6 million children in school in USA.
Seventeen children have been killed in 2018 – in one public school.
Is the panic an agenda being pushed for more gun control….or using the current numbers….is there REALLY a problem THE SIZE being reported? I think not.
It is time to panic about the news we are being spoon fed to loose more of our rights as citizens of the USA.
