Biography in a Nutshell

Homegrown – that’s me! I prefer small towns, have lived high in the mountains, and on a farm. I love the outdoor life and animals; particularly dogs and horses. Birds are wonderful too. It seems I have lived “many lives” and am still so excited about life itself it amazes even me:). I have also lived in cities and know there are great things about city dwelling too.

I am a personal health consultant and a life counselor. I worked as a personal trainer for many years. I specialize in stress management and relaxation. I probably get more benefits that any of my students as I really practice the techniques. I am calm, cool and happy 99% of the time. I am known as the “human happy face” and it’s real, from within my heart.

I have 3 grown (and wonderful) children, 3 grandchildren (the cutest, of course) and a magnificent husband of 19 years. Recently I was fortunate to have a publisher publish my book, and have produced a new relaxation CD that has some awesome original music on it. I believe in both these projects and hope and pray that the book and CD will help people and change lives!

I am NEW to blogging. I feel like a baby learning a foreign language. However, I love to write so I am having a great time. I love to kayak and stay healthy. I am open to listen to others thoughts, love to learn, and am firm about my own philosophy and spiritual beliefs – though I respect everyone’s right to choose for themselves.

I really enjoy reading the various blogs and hope someone likes what I’m doing! If this seems like a lot of “me-me-me” – it is.! Isn’t that what a biography is, afterall? 🙂

well, the above is just about me, me, me 2! too! also! and right on sis!

there are expections to everything, so i guess i would have to say: except that my book isn’t ready to be published yet. and i suppose we would have to add a few more jobs, children, grandchildren, and two great grandsons…, i’ve been busy!

but oh yeah, life:) i will always bread for a turtle crossing the road and help a frog if left high and dry. but as i do that, i look, listen and really enjoy the difference in that creation…. the variety boggles the mind! i had a friend i was talking on the cell with and she said, “do you know what a bottle gourd plant is?” “Yes, i said!” “There is one on my patio and right now there are about 30 little birds in it….” she went on to discribe the birds to me. a joy shared is a joy, none the less! she knew that i love all the details. i am guessing you do too! chat soon! love, lesley

Kayaking is fabulous!! The best way to sight see. I had the opportunity to kayak all over Costa Rica this summer and it was an amazing experience.

I am a kayak freak! My girlfriends and I are lucky to have lots of water very close by and we kayak as often as possible. Sometimes I will just go out alone and kick my feet up and enjoy reading a book. Mostly we kayak, stop and picnic, sunbathe and then kayak again! 🙂

Nice to read your bio! Amaaaazing!!!! Do you still have any CD’s? Did you do perform your original music? Do you play any instruments? So many questions, so little time!

Homegrown, eh? So nice to find Organic people!!!!! Yay me! Personal trainer? Writer? Life coach? Are you my twin sister!???

My parents introduced “farming” to our city living as a child, so I was given the good fortune having a splended blend of both. It has stayed with me and I will have my own organic greenhouse once I’m settled. Going to keep meandering your site…love it love it love it!
